The State of New Jersey is offering extra funds to families that are approved for Free/Reduced Lunch in the 2022-2023 school year. The funds will be issued to an EBT/SNAP Card that will be distributed by next fall. If you have not applied for Free/Reduced lunch for this school year and believe you may be eligible, please take this opportunity to fill out the application. If you are approved, you will receive $120 per Kindergarten through 8th Grade student registered in our district. 

 

To fill out the application for Free/Reduced Lunch, please go to Mealtime (click the Orange box). The deadline to apply is our last day of school, June 20, 2023. Please read this flyer for additional information.

Please note, you will need your child's school ID Number. You can find the number in your family genesis portal. If you do not know how to log into your student's genesis portal, call your school office and they can assist you.

To add funds to your student's MealTime account so they can purchase items in the school cafeteria, please click here (white box) or send a check written out to Freehold Township Schools in with your student.

SODEXO INGREDIENT DISCLAIMERThe district may not know the exact ingredients used in the preparation of food and beverage items served within the school lunch program and/or by parent and school organizations.  Every effort is made to instruct our food production staff on the severity of food allergies.  In accordance with the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act, the major allergen ingredients of milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans, wheat and shellfish are to be identified on food labels.  However, food manufactures are not required to declare these same allergenic ingredients which may be introduced through cross contact.  Cross contact /contamination may occur during harvesting, transportation, manufacturing, processing and storage.  

While these ingredient lists are available, there is no guarantee of the absence of these major food allergens. In addition, based upon vendor availability food products may be substituted with similar brands without notice.  The parent/guardian of a student with anaphylaxis to food is to be responsible for their child’s purchase and consumption of any food product sold or provided by the school and needs to be aware of the potential hazards associated with the consumption of food not provided from the home.
